At BD Lots, Inc. we respect your right to privacy. Any time you browse through our web-site and access information about our products or contact us at BD Lots, Inc. you remain anonymous. Any and all information we request from you and you choose to provide us with about yourself, will be kept strictly confidential and will only be shared with our distribution companies, for the sole purpose of shipping your products to you and will not be shared with any other outside company, for any reason. The information we collect from you will only be used, by us, to help us better serve you.

ORDER PROCESSING AND CANCELATION POLICIES
Orders will be processed within 1-3 business days of your order submission.
Although our distributors keep their warehouses largely stocked with inventory, during peak times they may run out of stock, on particular items. If one or more of the items you ordered is out of stock, you will be notified by e-mail, as to when you may expect shipment of item(s).  However if you prefer to cancel your order, for the out of stock item(s), you may do so by contacting us, before the receipt of shipment. If out of stock item(s) will not be available within 30 days, your money will be refunded and you may re-order the item(s), at a later date.
For any other cancelations of orders you must contact us by E-mail, within 24 hours of your order submission. Cancelations and refunds for cancelation of orders, can not be guaranteed, unless received prior to shipment of order.

SHIPPING
All orders shipped by ground, should arrive within 1-4 weeks, depending on when your order is placed, how many products and the different products you order, if any complications with processing occur and where your product needs to be shipped to.
 
Of course orders can be processed for shipment more quickly if orders are placed at the beginning of the business week, verses ordering at the end of the business week or on non-business days, such as week-ends. Also when ordering during peak seasons, such as on or near holidays, could cause a delay in shipment.
 
As for how many products you order, of course the more products that you order the more time that it will take to process and package more items, and when ordering different products from different distributors those products will be shipped seperately and the shipment times may vary  with each distributor. ( Still to fall within the 1-4 week time frame)
 
Possible processing complications could be due to different shipping and billing addresses and or billing information inconsistant with what's on the credit card record.

COOKWARE
Cookware Merchandise Return Policies
Kitchen Basics, Classicor, Leyse, Color Cast and Innova Pressure Cookers are all covered by this policy.
 
1.Defective Merchandise
a. Upon receipt of your shipment, please verify the invoice to your product received and notify us within 10 days of any discrepancy or damage. A 100% refund, including freight will be allowed on maunfacturer's defects only, (see below for a description of manufacturer's defectsand other refund policies for non-defective merchandise).
b.  It is necessary to obtain a return authorization number from us, before returning any cookware merchandise. Merchandise shipped without a return authorization number will be refused. The return authorization should appear on all cartons being returned.

2. Description of Manufacturer's Defects
a.    Weld Failure: Bakelite handle stud, steel handle, knob stud
b.    Delaminations:Bottom protector plate or disc separating from body
c.    Nonstick coating: Peeling or void spots on surface or edges, corrosion of coating
d.    Polished surfaces: Obvious pitting, stains, abrasions, dirt, rust or polishing compound
e.    Bakelite knobs handles:Split or broken handles or knobs (new only) Thread stripped or misthread-cannot tighten
f.     Rivets:Broken or loose
g.    Lids: Will not fit, sharp edges
 
3. Pressure Cookers 
a.   Pop Up Valve:Separated from lid
b.   Push Button Release:Locked or stuck - will not release at zero pressure
 
NOTE:The following conditions are NOT defects on used products, credit will not be allowed.
1.Scratches on polished or nonstick surfaces
2.Stains on polished or nonstick surfaces
3.Dents
4.Loose Bakelite handles and knobs
5.Delaminations of bottoms if obvious overheating as evidenced by blue tinting
6.Rust spots on 18/10 bottom protector plate
 
 
 
 

POLICY ON ALL RETURNS OF NON-DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
Standardly returns are not accepted for Non-Defective Merchandise and all require the following:
(However if for some reason there is a problem with the product you ordered that we can resolve otherwise, please contact us and we will do our best to accomodate you.)
a.Returns of non-defective merchandise require a return authorization number, also and should be shipped freight prepaid. Merchandise shipped without a return authorization number, or shipped freight collect will be refused.
b.If the product is resalable as received, a 20% handling and restocking charge will apply
c. On non-defective returned merchandise do not write on , alter or damage the packaging in any way. No credit will be issued for such damaged package(s). For your protection, the package(s) should be insured, as you will be responsible for the package(s) and it's contents, until the package(s) reaches our warehouse.
d.If the product is damaged or customer abused and cannot be refurbished and resold, no credit will be issued.
CARRIER DAMAGED MERCHANDISE
All our products are carefully inspected and packed before shipment is made to our customers.
If any packages you ordered are missing or packages received are damaged, please let us know.
However if you notice any damage to your package(s) caused by the carrier, notify the driver, before he leaves the premises. If the driver has already left, please contact the freight  carrier as soon as possible. Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. Ask them to return and inspect the damage so that you will be able to file a claim. We cannot be responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.

TERMS OF USE STATEMENT
You understand and agree that the owners of this site shall not be liable for any direct or indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data or other intangible losses, (even if the owners of this site have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from the use or the inability to use the product(s) and or service(s) or any misuse of the product(s) and or service(s) in a manner not in accordance with their intended use.
